River Forest CC offers an expansive array of instructional opportunities for the entire family! Male or female, juniors to seniors, we have you covered.

We start each season offering ladies and junior group clinics twice a week in the month of May. Private lessons are available year-round. Our staff of PGA Professional schedule lessons by the half hour and the hour. Lesson packages offered include: 5 half hour- or hour-long series along with our unique "full season" packages that can be utilized by a single player, couple or family.

If junior golf is a priority, we have one of the best programs in Chicago. Junior programing at RFCC includes:

  • Spring & Fall clinics
    • twice a week in one-hour sessions.
  • A six-week Junior Golf Academy
    • twice a week in one-hour sessions split up into three divisions.
  • A one-week Junior Golf Camp
    • Three days of camp within one week, in two-hour sessions.
  • Kids Club for our 5- & 6-year-old golfers utilizing SNAG Golf!
    • Once a week in 45-minute sessions.
  • Junior Club Championship
    • One day, three divisions.
  • PGA Junior League:
    • A 4 team in house league consisting of 48 juniors.
  • West District Junior Travel Team:
    • For the more competitive junior, teams of up to 8 RFCC juniors travel to other local private clubs and play 18 holes of golf, keeping score against the other teams.
