Upon Arrival

Upon your arrival, please proceed to the bag drop area where you will be greeted by our Caddie Manager and our outside service staff. Once your bag has been removed, proceed to any open parking space and self-park. Entry into the Men's locker room is direct from the north end of the parking lot (opposite the caddie shack). Entry into the Ladies locker room is through the main entrance of the club on the west side. Once inside, a locker room attendant will greet you and escort you to your locker for the day.

Dress Code

Men: Golf shirts with collars, golf slacks, appropriate length shorts, headwear should be worn bill forward, shirts should be tucked in. Blue jeans may be worn anywhere on the property except for the golf course/range areas. Improper attire: T-shirts, tank tops, or sleeveless shirts, blue jeans on the golf course or driving ranges, jogging shorts, or cut-offs.

Women: Golf shirts (need not have collars), golf slacks, appropriate length shorts or skirt. Blue jeans may be worn any on the property except for the golf course/range areas. Improper attire: Tank tops, strapless tops, or halter tops, bare midriffs, blue jeans on the golf course or driving ranges, jogging shorts, or cut-offs.

Cell Phone Policy

Cell phones must be set on silent or vibrate at all times on the golf course.
An incoming call may be answered, and the calling party should be informed that you will return the call at the appropriate time. The appropriate time to return or make a call will be either at the half-way house, between the 9th green and the 10th tee or before/after your round. Non audible functions such as texting and checking emails is permitted at all times.

On the Course

It is the duty of all golfers to keep pace with the group directly in front, and not just ahead of the group directly behind. A group of four playing 18 holes should take no longer than 4 hours. Every member of River Forest and their guests have the responsibility of taking care of our pristine grounds so please replace all divots and fix all ball marks.

Service Staff

Team members and caddies are an integral part of the River Forest family and they should be treated with dignity and respect.

After the Round
